FCA – more than 20 years of industry experience.

The history of FCA runs parallel to the history of fibre optics in Poland – we began our operations more than 20 years ago when optical fibre networks were first being introduced in the country...

    2011

  • FCA is the only European company to have the status of H+S Certified FO Assembly Partner for the highest quality and production technology of optical connectors.


    2010

  • FCA receives the "Transparent Company" (pol. "Przejrzysta Firma") certificate. The document verifies a company's reliability and financial credibility.
  • FCA is appointed member of the Technical Committee of the Polish Committee for Standardization.
  • FCA is ranked 3rd among the 12 Largest Manufacturers of Telecommunications Equipment in Poland according to the Raport Teleinfo 500 report issued in 2010.


    2009

  • New headquarters of the company, at Niepolomice Industrial Zone.


    2008

  • FCA was awarded the fourth Business Gazelle Certificate.
  • FCA has received the status of Transmode Distributor in Poland.


    2007

  • FCA was classified the 48th out of 303 in the 7th Business Gazelle Ranking, considering Malopolska state. Our Company has also improved its national ranking by 837 positions compared to the year before.
  • FCA was awarded with a bronze prize by Huber+Suhner company. Our company was given the prize for a dynamic and professional implementation of Hubert+Suhner’s solutions on the Polish market in the year 2006.


    2006

  • FCA was classified in the first one hundred best companies in the 6th Business Gazelle Ranking, considering Malopolska state. Our Company has also improved its national ranking by 365 positions compared to the year before.
  • FCA obtained „The Fair Play Enterprise” certificate for diligence, solidity and honesty in relations with business partners, customers and employees.


    2005

  • FCA was awarded with the „Business Gazelle” prize, by Business Pulse magazine. The prize is awarded yearly for the most dynamically developing companies.


    2004

  • extension of the assembly line with the next HUBER+SUHNER polishing machine.


    2003

  • FCA won the next TP S.A. public tender for optical distribution frame (ODF) delivery, together with its equipment and accessories for building optic telecommunication lines.
  • The beginning of FCA sales of Photon’s diodes and lasers to eastern European countries and FCA also obtained the status of the only certified representative of Photon for this region.
  • FCA obtained the status of the exclusive distributor of HUBER+SUHNER products for Poland, regarding fibre-optic products.


    2002

  • ISO 9001 (as an extension of ISO 9002).
  • The initiation of MT-RJ optical fibre-optical connectors machine polishing process.
  • FCA obtained the status of HUBER+SUHNER distributor for Poland, regarding fibre-optic products.
  • Presentation of OptiTel optical distribution frame (ODF) system at the KST conference in Warsaw.


    2001

  • FCA won TP S.A. public tender for optical distribution frame (ODF) delivery, together with its equipment.
  • New headquarters of the FCA company. Our office and fibre optic laboratory are situated at 3 W. Slawka St. in Krakow
  • FCA obtained „The Fair Play Enterprise” certificate for diligence, solidity and promptness in business.


    2000

  • Implementation of polishing technology of the highest quality Premium fibre-optical connectors with 0,09 dB attenuation and reflectance over 80 dB.
  • Implementation of the machine polishing technology for the miniature switches LC.
  • Implementation of ISO 9002 Quality Management Systems (TUV certification).


    1999

  • Beginning of cooperation with ZPAS company in terms of designing and implementing the production of OptiTel optical distribution frame family.
  • FCA equipped its fibre-optic laboratory with the interferometer DORC, for geometrical parameters control of switches.
  • Beginning of direct cooperation with Swiss fibre optic switches producer - HUBER+SUHNER company.


    1997

  • FCA was hived off ASCOMP’s fibre-optic department as an independent company.


    1993

  • Beginning of cooperation with a Japanese fibre-optic components producer – SEIKO.


    1989

  • Beginning of fibre optic pigtails and patchcords assembling, based on Amphenol (USA) connectors and CHROMATIC (USA ) fibre-optic cables, within ASCOMP company.
