Underground and conduit-based fibre optic cables

Underground and conduit-based fibre optic cables are exterior network cables designed to be laid directly in the ground or in conduits.

The cable coating insulates the fibres forming the cable core, providing constant protection against harmful conditions and mechanical factors, such as increased temperature, creasing or water ingress.

This reduces the risk of transmission continuity loss and network damage, minimising the need for repairs.
